We need to report on:
How much tuition (actual tuition, not boarding or incidentals) per student was paid for by the family, based on calendar year.
How much financial assistance was granted to each student, based on calendar year.
Currently, it is very difficult to obtain this information. It's almost a completely manual process.
This will affect mostly post-secondary institutions, where this information is required to be produced.
This morning, we shipped the Payment applications export found under Reporting. The export can be filtered by date range and fee type and will provide all payment/portions of payments applied to those specific fees. The export can then be used to create a Word merge letter/receipt.
We are working on the ability to create a data file of all payment applications for a specific time frame and for specific fees. For financial aid, you should be able to use the transaction list to filter on only credits for a specific timeframe. And then once you export the credits, you can filter in Excel for the specific credit types (we'll be adding the ability to filter within the Transaction list soon).
