Eliminate timing out while entering "Add payments to a group" or "Add charges to a group"

We've had multiple times where we try to add a large amount of payments/charges to a group, but deep in to the process it won't search for a student name/number. When we go to click "Add", nothing happens. We end up losing all the entries made and have to start over.
