Add new charge to a payment plan mid-year

Currently, when adding a charge to a payment plan mid-year, the charge is automatically distributed across ALL months of the plan. This causes the account to have arrears for the months that have already passed.

Ideally, there would be an option to add a charge on a specific date and forward so that the charge is distributed across the REMAINING months in the plan.

This situation arises, for example, if a student enrolls in an optional program mid-year and is, therefore, charged from that point forward.

It is particularly challenging for those on Auto-Pay.
