Currently, there is no way to send the amount due and the balance forward amount due in the same notification. This makes it difficult to include any merge fields that reflects the true outstanding balance for the parents. The system is currently fragmented into Upcoming Payment Due and Past Due Balance. There is a need to be able to send the parents the 'Current Balance' that includes the past due amount + amount due.

Example:
Child XYZ has a past due balance of $50 from April 2025 and $50 from March 2025. In May 2025, another $100 were added to the account.

In the statement notification merge field, we should be able to include a Current Balance merge field that includes the past due balance and the current month's balance for a total of $200 in the notification email.

The trigger for the notification would likely have to be based on the "Prior to Due Date" similar to Upcoming Payment Due Notification setup.
