Allow Billing Clerks to access/impersonate parent view of Billing module
In order to help assist families with their billing questions or issues, it would be a big help if users with the Billing Clerk role could access a parent view or impersonate a parent to specifically access the Billing module. This is possible in other payment platforms and it would be accessing information that is already available to the Billing Clerk so it seems like this should be relatively feasible.

From speaking with support and further experimenting, the only way for a Billing Clerk to view a parent's payer portal is to also assign a clone of the Platform Manager role that allows the impersonate user task. With this approach, the Billing Clerk would be able to impersonate all users (other than other platform manager/cloned PM roles) and see all sections of the product they have access to.
This idea is specifically related to a built-in Billing Clerk/additional Billing Management role that would allow for only viewing what a parent is seeing in their payer portal.

Can you please confirm that Billing Clerk is the only role needed in order to view a user's payer portal? I've assigned this role to two users and both are unable to impersonate a payer/access the payer's view of the portal.
Based on what I'm seeing, the user would also need an additional role that contains the impersonate user task, but that would also allow them to impersonate most other users. Is there something I'm missing?
Billing clerks are able to impersonate users to see the payer portal. It may be that your platform manager/school admin needs to grant you access.
