We would like to be able to display users their account balance on statements instead of just the amount due. When we only display the amount due, students with a credit balance display as $0.00 due even though their billing profile correctly shows a credit.
Would like to be able to print a statement that shows the family has a credit balance. A $0.00 statement does not show the reality when a credit balance exists.

When processing a refund for a family this makes it extremely difficult as I cannot generate a statemen which shows how much we owe them.

The credit balance on an account does not carry over as the beginning balance to the next statement/billing period. For example, an account has a credit balance of $10 as of August 31st. The August statement shows amount due is zero. The September statement shows the summary balance as of September 1st is zero whereas it should be $10 credit. The statements do not reflect the real account balances.

It is critical that the balance is reflected correctly. Please could this be escalated as an urgent fix.

Not sure if this was added since this was posted almost a year ago, but you can display a running balance on the body of the statement. Edit your active statement format, on the body of the statement click Edit Section, under Format => Details Format choose "Amount/Balance columns".

This is not a 'feature' for future consideration. This is a function of any basic billing system. Please attend to this fundamental issue asap.

This shouldn't even be an item that we have to vote on- it is fundamental to a client/provider relationship that accurate and complete statements are produced and a massive failing in any financial system that can't do this. This should be an item that is fixed ASAP

This is a VERY BIG DEAL. If I cannot produce accurate statements my customers will not trust me or the institution.
