People finder should display Middle name/initial , a role, or a user ID in addition to last and first name
There are cases when users have same last and first names. It makes it difficult to select a correct person.

It makes no sense for there not to be more information. In higher ed we default to student id's. Using names, considering spelling errors and people with the same name makes things difficult if not nearly impossible for common names.
Or even be able to search buy ID.
Yes! The middle (or preferred name) also needs to be in Statement Recipients and Payers! If two or more people have the same name, there's no way in this area to confirm you're working with the correct record.
