New Assessment Builder - Give the Teacher options when they find an incorrectly marked answer and correct it?
Assessments made using the New Assessment Builder Format will now allow teachers to change what the correct answer is, after students start taking the assessment.
For example A teacher chose to use the New Assessment Builder for 5 sections of the same class. If after the first section takes that assessment, the teacher notices that the correct answer for question 8 is D instead of C, the teacher can change the correct answer for question 8 to be D instead of C before the other 4 sections take it.
That way the 4 remaining sections of students who put D will get the correct amount of points for question 8.
At the point when a teacher corrects the correct answer for question 8 from C to D, we would like teachers to have two options for how the system will handle those students who put D the correct answer for question 8, by choosing either:
Option Green: The system would AUTOMATICALLY give all those students in the first section who put D for question 8, the additional points.
Option Red: The system would NOT give all those students in the first section who put D for question 8, any additional points.
At the point when a teacher corrects the correct answer for question 8 from C to D, we would also like teachers to have two options for how the system will handle those students who put C the wrong answer for question 8, by choosing either:
Option Gold: The system would let those students in the first section who put C the wrong answer, keep those extra points, since it was the teacher's mistake the wrong correct answer was chosen
Option Blue: The system would AUTOMATICALLY subtract the points for question 8 away from those students in the first section who put C the wrong answer, since it was an incorrect answer regardless of the error the teacher made in selecting the correct answer.
This will hopefully save a lot of time for teachers since it will be automatically done by the system. This new way the teacher at the point when a teacher corrects the correct answer for question 8 from C to D, would see a pop up window that will have them choose Option Green or Option Red AND choose Option Gold or Blue (with a description of each option).
