Currently, there is no way for us to easily see if a student's assignment has been submitted and is ready for grading. The only way to know is by going into each individual assignment. There is a column in the assignment center to see how many have been graded for each assignment; would it be possible to add another column to see how many submissions have been made? This would be helpful for both assignments and assessments.
