Our College has been using this system for a bit now and I just can't wrap my head around why the system does not allow any sort of auto-assigning student ID's. This is an Education product, in K-12 and in Higher Ed we use student ID's. We shouldn't have to run outside processes to force a student ID for incoming or accepted students. I would like to suggest some sort of setting that either allows schools to specify a starting number or allow the user id to be copied into student ID. We require a student ID to be set once the applicants are accepted, so maybe it would make sense to put into enrollment management?
