Currently, if a teacher needs to edit a generic comment, they must repeat the process of entering it by using the +Add bulk comment"
The existing “Bulk Edit” button (located in the top-left corner) is misleading because it only allows bulk editing of grades, not generic comments.
Additionally, when a grade plan contains only comments, the “Bulk Edit” button becomes non-functional, further confusing users.
Proposed changes:
Rename the “Bulk Edit” button to “Bulk Grade Edit.”
Add a new “Bulk Comment Edit” button to allow teachers to edit generic comments in bulk.

This has frustrated our users this reporting period, after the new grading experience and List View became the default. We have several grade plans that contain comments-only. As Elena mentioned, the "Bulk Edit" button that is visible in both List View and Grid View, but just gives a generic error message and doesn't let you add comments in bulk, even if it's the only type of grade in the grade plan. The workaround is to use the buttons on the right to switch to "Grid View". You'll get a "add bulk comment" button above the comment column this way.
Can we either rename the "Bulk Edit" button as suggested, or add a better warning message so teachers know how to bulk add comments for grade plans that don't contain grades?
