Currently, for interim grades (and report card grades), our school has 3 fields - one for attitude, one for effort, and a third for comments.  For attitude and effort, currently you must use the drop down for every single student.  I have nearly 150 students, so that is nearly 300 individual drop-downs.  The new feature would allow you to bulk assign a single attitude that fits the needs of most of your students -- say Average -- and then afterwards, you would only need to go back and re-edit the students that there were different from the majority.  In my case, more like 10% or less of my students.
