I would like the ability to attach a Note or Comment to any record in Core - not just students.  In Education Edge we had the ability to write Notes and categorize them.  I have used these notes for tracking address and contact information changes - for notating conversations with parents - for recording information about custody - among other things.  I would paste in any email exchange that occurred with the parent as part of my note.  

Ideally - we should be able to restrict access to view these notes - similar to the Student Comments - although with more restrictions.  For example - all teachers don't need to see the custody notes placed on a parents' record - just teachers who have a student related to that parent.
