I would like a report that would have all students listed with the status of each school form assigned to them so that I can see which school forms a family needs to fill out all in one place.
I would love to use the Form step in the student checklist however, when it comes to forms that parents sign, we CANNOT because it does not respect the logic of which parent is actually assigned as being able to sign the form.
For example, we do not allow step-parents to be responsible signers so when we assign forms to a students we need to go back and manually remove step parents from the form (this is a whole other issue that can be seen in idea 2767).
However, since step-parents still have parent rights, they can see the student checklist. If they click on a form step, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT THEY ARE ASSIGNED TO SAID FORM, they are able to go to the form and sign it.
Fix the sloppy programming logic and then maybe we could actually use it ;)
While we don't have a school form status report, I did want to let you know that Student Checklists in EMS can likely solve some of the reporting and tracking issues surrounding managing multiple forms. You can create a student checklist that has all of the forms that a family needs to fill out. When you assign the checklist to a student, it will assign out associated the forms for that family and then you'll be able to use the Process checklist steps list to see the status of each step (form) with a column that shows remaining signers. With the Manage checklists list, you can see a more high level view that shows each student, steps completed and steps remaining.
If you haven't used Student Checklists yet, I suggest taking a look to see if this could help save you time and energy with managing multiple forms. We welcome your feedback once you try them!
Wow - this is a really old idea that I'd like to bring back to the forefront. Seems like a pretty easy lift to add a "status" column and have the report return all user regarding... Many times, we are equally or sometimes even more interested in getting a usable, shareable list of who didn't submit a form, so that we can do a personal reach out.
This would be very helpful. The idea could be expanded to be a report (much like the one available for event registrations) with options to filter output by completed forms or not completed forms.
The ability to pull a list of users that have the form assigned, but have not completed/submitted yet would be incredibly helpful, especially for forms with large numbers of assigned users.

@kelsey our school doesn't have EMS. We use the forms in Academics. Is there a way to track them without EMS?

We need an easier way to pull a list of who didn't sign and submit forms.
