Right now, Parental Access is defined by what a parent can see in either the website or a child's record. Access should be further defined in a few more different ways. 1. Legal Authority to Sign Forms, 2. Allowed access to Health and Learning Profile Records, 3. Allowed access to grades and teacher notes -- with many multi-parent families, and international students, such subtle differences in roles is important and can have legal consequences.
I know this idea is old, but I'd like to revive a conversation about the subtleties of parental access. Add to this: allow the fields from the enrollment application to map to the relationship fields in Core, or at least make them parallel so they can be imported! "Responsible for Communication" is a good one - but present only in EMS. Why?
