Add Parent of Incoming Student as an option to publish Resource Board Posts to.

When adding posts to the Resource Board, we can currently only filter down by Parents and the School Level. There is some information that we would like to keep on there for existing parents that would not apply to incoming parents, such as Re-enrollment forms. This would also give added flexibility to post additional information to just the Parents of Incoming Students that would be relevant to them, but would not be needed by our existing parents.

Customizing the Resource Boards would be a great way to help drive new parents to log in, as well as allowing us more flexibility to keep existing parents involved.

This is so old, it's something we really could use!

We really need this! As stated below the information for Incoming Parents is unique to this group. And a lot of what is on the (current) Parent board is not. We don't want to overwhelm the new parents and we don't want to clutter the board for current. Please, developers, review this request!!!

We definitely could use this! The incoming parents don't need to be bogged down by all the current parent information. We just want to present to them the things they need to see. Any movement on this?

I totally agree, however why not use the Parent of Incoming Student Bulletin Board and Topics for publishing content to them? Then go to Parent of Incoming Student role and turn off the Resource Board?

Needs of Incoming Parents are so different than current parents. We'd love to make our digital onboarding much friendlier and relevant.

This has been an open idea for six years and we very much would like to see this implemented. There is a good bit of information that is only relevant to incoming parents that we would like to display on a resource board, but right now it is essentially useless until the start of the new school year when incoming students are moved to become students. Please add this!

Yes! This is so needed for incoming families. The information they need completely different from our current families.

This is important. The new family experience is very different and they shouldn't be overwhelmed.

I would love to see this feature going forward. We thought that it was already part of the package that we purchased with Blackbaud.

Any movement on this? Patiently waiting...

This should be easy to do as the role exists in the system. Is this being looked at seriously? Since it was recommended in 2017, it does not look like it....

    This should be merged with

Allow the creation of Resource Boards for other roles/personas: Candidate & Parent of Candidate; Parent of Alumni; Grandparent; etc.

It makes no sense right now that we can't customize a separate board for parents of incoming students. The material on the Parent RB is not material that we need incoming parents to see.

This would be a great addition. We currently have "New to SCHOOLNAME" etc. tabs in our Parent Resource Board which we would love to move to an "Incoming Parent" role based RB.
