Ability for the system to give role templates
Currently, when we add roles for users (i.e. teachers, principals, advisors) we have to go through tasks to make sure we're giving them the correct roles. It would be helpful to have generic role templates that are tied to advisors or principals. This way we wouldn't have to go through all the roles and tasks to make sure they're getting the correct information. I know this may be different for each school, but I think it would save time in the long run.

Technically we already have this; you can clone a role. However, in my experience, it has two fatal flaws:
1) It doesn't work at all. Cloning a role doesn't actually copy any of the tasks over; you still have to manually set them all. That's not "cloning". That's just creating a new role.
2) It also doesn't copy "hidden" permissions/settings; For example, we cloned the Teacher role and created a Tutor role, hoping they would then be able to see resources set for Faculty. While they do have the Faculty persona, they still can't see the resources. Support confirms this is because of a non-copyable attribute of the Teacher role.
Basically, the role system is awful. We need better templates and better management.
