Apparently when a student changes their privacy settings to "Include my name but do not include any other information about me." it removes the ability for administration and staff to view all information about a student. I was told, by support, the only workaround is to make everyone a platform manager or change the student's privacy settings back to the default. This is counterproductive. There needs to be a way for administration and certain staff members to view a students information regardless of the privacy settings. I would think creating a role that gives members permissions to view the student's information would be a great solution.
This is a critical feature that is pushing current customers into a position where they have to compromise security on one hand (by giving the Platform Manager to people who shouldn't have it) or compromise health and safety of students on the other hand by not having access to critical information when it is needed.
Could give teacher role a test along the lines of ignoring student privacy setting?
