Student withdrawal timing & access

A family's access to our system should be turned off as soon as they let our business office know they are withdrawing their student.  However, teachers need time to finish grading before the student is actually withdrawn from classes and the registrar needs time to pull withdrawal grades, transcripts, report cards, attendance lists.  The time between notification of withdrawal and finishing grading is several days.  It would be nice if the system allowed us to remove access and not take attendance on a student who is technically withdrawn while still giving teachers and registrars access to finish grading.

    Hi Janet,
Thanks for following up. It’s not about the access, it’s the students still
being enrolled in the classes and them and their parents receiving emails
from the teachers emailing from the roster, in addition to the parents
receiving pushpages since they are still coded as a parent.
Let me know if you have any other questions about this.
    Thank you, Josceline

Is there a reason why you cannot use the disable account feature on the Core > People Finder > Profile > Access tab to accomplish removing access to the student for that time period?

Yes Yes!! Not too mention, the teachers still have the student in their class, so if they email students or parents, the email goes to the student that has withdrawn. Also, the same with push pages and you do not want to unsubscribe them because you will included them in past parent push pages. This is a major problem.
