In EE if you entered an ID number that was previously assigned to another student it wouldn't let you save the record.  It would be helpful to add this feature to the contact card for Student IDs because currently I have to run a list and double check for duplicates.  Given that the information gets distributed throughout the school for other programs that used ID as an identifier, it would be helpful not to have to make corrections after imports have already been done.
