With the new password requirements coming...though this works for teachers/parents/older students in general, this is a "nightmare" for our younger students to have to change passwords every X amount of days on the administrative side. I can see having stronger password setting for most roles...but we should have the option to have permanent passwords or the option to turn the re-set off for the student role. Please consider this...or we may have to discontinue using the ON products for our PreK-6 because of this.
I think you misunderstood the communication. It is possible to set the expiration days to 0 for a role which will never expire. The new enforcement does not mandate an expiration period.
The reuse parameter is only if they are changing their password.
