We use Google Suite internally for mail, calendar, file sharing, etc...We would like the ability to export calendar data for each faculty member and student in .ICS format so that the calendar data can be imported into the users (i.e. example@sch.org) GCal. The benefits of this over using a feed include the ability to use Google "Find a Time" feature when scheduling meetings within our school. As it stands now all faculty do not have their teaching schedules in their GCals, which is problematic. This is onerous to do manually for each person.
I know this is a 3 year old idea, but if folks are still following this one or they discover it, I have the workaround for it.
On the Faculty page, click on the Calendar button up top between News and Directories.
Click on the wifi looking button on the top right hand corner of the calendar.
The window that pops up will show a link labeled: Entire Calendar: My Calendars with an expandable menu below it called Individual Filter Feeds. The My Calendars link includes ALL of the items listed under Individual Filter Feeds, so choose wisely based on what your faculty want to import into their Outlook/Google/whatever calendar.
Right-click on the desired calendar link and copy the URL.
Past that link into a new browser BUT delete webcal at the front of the URL and replace it with http.
Press Enter.
You will be prompted to name-n-save an .ics file.
Import that .ics file into wherever you need to import it.
Now, let's talk about the fact that the .ics file/feed generated from the Class calendar page is only a 60-day rolling file/feed.
