It would be helpful for other faculty to be able to write in a comment in attendance when a student is absent from a class.  For example, if I teach a class that Bobby is in and I see that he has been marked absent by another person (maybe he is out for the day), then it would be nice to be able to add a comment saying that Bobby is missing a test in my class.  That way we may start to see patterns for absences.
