RSS feed should incorporated event categories

We are planning on incorporating the event RSS feed into our primary website, however, we are finding out that On doesn't include the categories that the events are a part of in the ICS code.  Here is an example event from the ICS file:

CATEGORIES:podium,events
END:VEVENT
 
As you can see under the event category section it just says podium (still?!) and events, which is very unhelpful.  I think that adding categories to this calendar feed would be trivial.  Thank you.
