Ability to set My Day > Schedule to List instead of Grid

In Core > Settings: Starting Page, I'd like the option for users to be able to set whether they default their My Day > Schedule to List or Grid view.

    I'd like to be able to set list or grid view from the backend. Our teachers don't tend to play around in the system and have been frustrated not knowing how to change their own view (we've provided instructions, but they don't read them).

    Currently in the grid view, if classes overlap and the teachers take attendance in one class, it will take attendance in all overlapping classes. We have so many things happening one right after the other that shifting the end/start time by one minute would mess up a large chunck of our day.

    And for students to be able to view "grid" at all on the one day view.
