When we open lists, we nearly *always* have to do some tweaking or adjusting to the filters and/or columns before we run it.  Therefore, when it is wasted time waiting for a list to run initially.   At least make this customizable.  It is very frustrating to wait sometimes a full minute for a list to run with filters and columns that are not of use.
