Currently, the interface does an OK job of identifying questions that families miss when completing School forms. This is currently accomplished by:
A red message at the top informing of missing questions and icon within the form's category / tab that has missing questions
A red box surrounding the response(s) that have not been provided
In many of our forms however, a section may have many questions and so the only way to find these is to scroll through the list of questions. Additionally, the red box surrounding the responses that are missing is not very thick, so it's somewhat easy to miss.
It would be helpful to increase the width of the red box as well as have one of the following:
A link, button, or other interface that will automatically move the user to the first offending question when selected. The system is already smart enough to highlight the questions, so it's conceivable it could also be smart enough to take you there, automatically.
I could envision a small interface at the very top of the form that would stay in place that would indicated A) the total number of missed questions, B) arrow buttons to move forward and back and scroll to the next missed question. When forward or back was clicked, the form would scroll / move to that location such that the 'missed question' interface was at the top and the offending question was below
A separate category / tab that would contain just the missed questions. This way the focus is on the questions themselves. This would have the downside of separating the question from any contextual information that may be provided in a description above the question, so this probably isn't ideal.
A way to filter / hide all already-answered questions from a category to that only the unanswered ones are listed.
Ultimately, this would help families complete school forms.
