Through data entry errors or families not understanding how to update their addresses and contact information, I am finding we frequently end up with home addresses that are suddenly no longer shared/linked between all family members (say the parents share an address and it is technically the same address as their child, but the child's record has a separate instance of that address). This causes confusion when one record is updated but not the others. It would be helpful to have a way to export or run a report on users, with their addresses, and either show a string of users who share/are linked to that same address, or some sort of share/link yes/no identifier. When you have a large student body (and in our case a large international population with multiple guardians/host parents/parents per student), trying to figure out efficient ways to audit addresses becomes a never ending process.
The Household & address list (released in 2021) under Core>Users now provides a way for you to view all addresses in the system for parent and student users so you can easily see which addresses are shared or not and audit the information there.
Hi there, I think this can be accomplished with the new household/addresses list in Core which is in EAP but going live very soon. cc:ing @Alex Mendiola here who is the Core PM so he can update you when it does or find out if there's something else that's needed.
