The KB and online help did not tell me how the department picker/widget gets it data. I understand now that the text comes from the DEPARTMENT (use pencil to edit) under COURSES AND DEPARTMENT tab under the REQUESTS & SCHEDULES from Academic persona. The courses come from the list of course that are set to publish under the department.
