Currently, the system automatically keeps the 'older' profile. When it comes to Enrollment Management- for example, if a family applies two years in a row- this is not adequate. The newer profile ends up lost if the users are merged. Sure, the application gets kept, but the checklist and numerous other fields are cleared of the 'new' data since the 'older' user is kept.
