Any piece of data we pull from students at any point (application, inquiry, etc) should be able to be shown on the Contact Card (or somehow easily viewable in the database/shown in a LIST (not a report, a LIST)) if we want.


It is a little weird to me that we can ask for all this info from students, but except for very explicit reports that we specifically create for one piece of info or another, only like 3 of these pieces of data are transferred to the user's permanent account (like Contact Card).


I think that any piece of data we pull from a user (like sending school, or some weird custom question that we decide to ask), should have a database field and be able to have a corresponding spot on the Contact Card so everyone can see it. At this point I have to create all kinds of reports for people to view certain data, and for the custom Contact Card fields, I can't pull that data over from the application, or any form or anything.


I know you guys are primarily an SIS/LMS, but I think as part of an SIS there should be a good background database.
