Staff want to be able to find parents easily when there is an emergency or pressing issue. Currently when they use the directory and drill to the students contact card they see grandparents, guardians, parents, siblings and they need to be able to quickly pick out parents to be contacted. Allowing schools to set relationship sort order or flag parents would be a time saver.
