Modernize Pushpage format/functionality

Pushpage is a huge disappointment. It is extraordinarily outdated compared to competitor's tools. There are so many ways to consider updating this tool and therefore increase user-friendliness (and aesthetic aspects)

-allow adding photo cells/grids

-provide more flexibility for user to construct layout. Layout is so limited

-allow font/color changes in text box rather than to have to change these in the small, confusing styles menu

-allow video link for youtube, etc. videos

Finalsite's Messages module is a magnificent tool. We traded it for Pushpage bc BB, theoretically, has broader capabilities. Please, please improve this very important tool. Communicating with our constituents is one of the most important tasks in what we do.

I can't copy/paste info from google docs because it strips out most of the formatting – bold, italic, underline – and I have to go through entire documents and do it manually every time. If I use the intermediary workaround step of copying it to Word first, then to pushpage, I get the bold/italic/underlines, but it screws up my line spacing and font size. There are no line spacing or font-size options in pushpage to fix this. It's too limited for basic use

Yes!! 100% agree! We've had to resort to using MailChimp because Pushpages have such old technology and limited options. An ideal addition (besides just design elements) would be to allow us to add recipients beyond those who have accounts in the system. In other words, a grandparent or alumni who wants to receive a newsletter but doesn't want to jump through the hoops of having a full account set up.
