Currently teachers need to use a drop-down menu for gradebook entries when entering scores in the competency based gradebook. Having the option to use a keypad for gradebook entry is very important for time efficiency. We found that it takes teachers 5 times as long to use the drop-down menu than when entering scores with a keypad.
