ConnectRE currently maps Ethnicity from Core to Race in RE so we lose what may have already been recorded for Race in RE. If schools want to follow the NAIS data definitions for those fields to be able to report on them, then both need to be available. As it stands, RE users will lose Race data and if Core is using those NAIS standards, RE will end up with only the choices related to Latinx/Hispanic that fall under Ethnicity for NAIS.
