the ability to grant access to maintain a single Resource Board without having access to all the Resource Boards
It would be great to let certain areas of the school maintain their own Resource Board such as our Library, Nurse etc without having to give them access to all the Resource Boards

We would love granular control. The ability to limit to a resource board but also to limit to certain tiles.
100% agree. Assign Resource Board Editor access the same way we can assign editor access to specific content. Right now, I have to create content editor access groups for each resource board tile, and it's a clunky workflow for the people responsible for editing the content. I've seen similar idea posts - I was going to try to link to them in this post but I can't seem to locate them. If I happen to locate any of them I'll add the link in the comments on this post.
I frequently receive requests to give specific users access to edit specific posts on Resource Boards. A Communications Team rarely manages all boards/posts by themselves. Giving other users access to edit all boards just so they can manage their own areas is a bit too much access.
