We were recently tasked with identifying all community group owners who do not have a school Google account, so they can be notified about the new MFA requirements for login (mostly Parents). We could list Community Group Owners with their emails based on role, but could not output Community Group Titles (advanced list). We could list Community Group Members with their Community Group Titles and Email, but could not identify which ones were leaders - all members were included (advanced list). We could run a basic report of Community Group Owners with their Community Group Titles, but could not export the report to excel to vlookup emails. A roadblock at every turn...
Had a very long chat with support today on trying to pull a community group roster. See article 101851. After going no where I was sent to find or create an "idea". So, within education management, you can get a roster on sports, activities, etc., but not community groups. You can also run a report on all owners of community groups (why are they called owners when they are labeled Leaders, is beyond me). The instructions in the article referenced above tells how to get a list of everyone in a community group. BUT, per support, which I find completely preposterous, there is NOT a field within the education management suite that will allow you to add the Membership Type Leader/Member to an advanced list. HOW is this possible if the field actually exists. PLEASE fix these absolutely ridiculous key issues. Sorry for the rant but I actually wanted to climb into the chat support and strangle the agent after the answers I was provided and that it simply, isn't supported at this time.
