We have several instances where we need constituents to be able to view information without the ability to edit it.

For Parents: When we have court orders for a parent to view their student's information, but they do not have rights to change the information, make decisions or fill out forms. We do not want to prevent all of our users from being able to change information such as emergency contacts and who can pick up their student.

For Faculty: It would be very helpful for our homeroom teachers to be able to see and receive the communications from co-curricular teacher classrooms without the ability to make changes to the class pages or see details settings, etc. (similar to a parent or student view)
