When athletic events, travel, illness/quarantine, or other predictable reasons for excused absences arise, attendance managers enter those into student attendance for the future classes, but teachers will not see this information until the day of the class, so they may be planning for the absent student(s) to be present. If it's not too complicated, enabling a "View Attendance" button for future classes, with no ability to record attendance, just like what is available for past classes, could provide visibility into those attendance entries, assuming the future absences would be visible within such a feature. Currently, the Schedule tab, accessible via the student's Contact Card, also does not show the future absence in the attendance column, so it may be something more than just providing the View Attendance feature for all future classes.
