Resource Board Notifications

I would like to be able to have notifications go out when new content is added to a Resource Board. I want to be able to use the Resource Boards for internal communication rather than email, but people are afraid they'll miss when new information is added.

    We have "Class Pages" on our Resource Board, and parents have asked to receive notifications whenever something it added to their page. 

    If this isn't possible, could you build in notifications for text categories, so that parents get a notification when we edit their page's Class Announcement text category?
