Time Change on Server - Daylight Saving Time

I would like a way to handle states/areas that do not follow daylight savings so that the time does not need to be manually updated when a time change occurs.

Not only this ridiculous flaw, but calendars that sync (eg, Google) with our calendars are an hour off in the future after an  upcoming daylight savings change. You read that correctly, if a daylight savings change were to happen on an upcoming Monday, for example, all the events after are an hour off until Monday when we manually call in to make the change. Really unacceptable.

Please make the proper adjustments to remedy this situation to avoid a recurring problem.  This will save everyone involved time and effort.

Please fix this!  This will have a big impact on members of our school community.  I would like to see us being able to have the capability to choose time zones for our areas.

PLEASE fix this.  In this day and age, there is no reason why the correct time can't be visible no matter where you are located.

Agreed!  Maybe a choice in the setup where a school can say they don't follow daylight savings time or create a specific timezone for those states where Daylight Saving Time is not active.

I would also like to suggest, as part of this enhancement, a way to have OnCampus accounts tied to individual time zones.  We have students attending from all over the world and it would be much easier if all assignments, quizzes, tests, etc. would adjust to the users time zone.  Thank you.
