Ability for parents to edit student's custom field information

I would like to be able to have parents edit their student's custom field information on their profile. I would like custom fields added under Core > settings - profile > profile relationship access. I do not want the parents to have to sign in to the student account to be able to manage the student's profile.

Agreed! Sad to see this has been requested for almost 9 years...this would be a huge help to our families and our school.

Blackbaud, please allow platform managers to give edit profile access to custom user fields

Agreed. The custom field is somewhat useless without this feature. We are using the custom fields as a work around for authorized pick ups...another feature, which doesn't exist.
