Grade Book Grade Access for Previous Terms

I would like students to be able to access their previous term's grade book grades. I would like to see the green grade book icon displayed for the current and previous terms so students can go back and look at their grades.

It would be really nice if the students (and parents if access is given) could toggle between terms just like the teachers to in their grade books. I also agree that this should be more of a "fix" than an "enhancement request." Our students are most anxious about seeing their previous semester grades just after it ends. Having what amounts to a continuous grade book is what is warranted here.

The show/hide function didn't work for us. All that did was reveal the % on the icon "cover." Also, we just rolled into semester 2, and the show/hide isn't visible to students yet.

As a matter of update, I was told by support yesterday that this feature didn't exist, and they directed me to this idea to vote for it, which led to my previous comment. I have since realized that you can see previous marking periods by using the drop down arrow next to the show/hide grades toggle. It is not labeled very well at all, but the feature is there. Just wanted those who are interested in this to know. It also might be good to let the support department know the feature exists as well.

How has this not been addressed yet? This is hardly a "feature" or enhancement. This should be considered a fix.

Parents should have this same option.

Additionally, design should dictate that only one quarter at a time can be selected.
