Notifications for parents of alumni

I would like a way to manage notifications for parents of alumni or parents of past students. Currently, after a student leaves, the parents are still getting notifications of what's happening at the school.

Related ideas
I can't believe this isn't something that's already automatic. Why would a past parent want to receive a notification for something that no longer applies to them? No one is going to take the time to unsubscribe when they leave the school, and manually doing it as a Platform Manager is time consuming.
