Employment sort order

I'd like a way to sort the order in which the employee’s various roles appear. For instance, I’ll be adding several faculty to the "residential" role, however, I would like that to appear second as this is a “secondary role”. I’d like their primary role to appear first, then their residential role (i.e. Math, Residential).

I’m looking for the ability to sort the departments in which they are a part of under the Department heading.
