It would be very helpful to add Links categories to the Featured Content page . We use it as our landing page across the community and are somewhat constrained with only the ability to only put events, news and media on the page.  For example, we want to be able to have our parents in 1 click go from the Featured Content page to our PickaTime site for Parent Teacher Conferences.  Because of the PickaTime integration, this "link" needs to be put in a Link category where we can provide an explanation and then a link.  You can't, as far as I can tell, do this in a news category.  We are stuck putting the information on a resource board and having our parents do in 3 clicks that which should be able to be done in 1.
