OnBoard's contracts currently require two things: fees and a deposit. We want to implement continuous enrollment (essentially "You agree to pay your bills until your child graduates or you notify us that your child will no longer attend out school"), but we cannot create a contract like this because we are required by OnBoard to include tuition fees. The problem with this is that then we're asking the parent to agree to pay the contract's amount every year, rather than an externally billed amount. We are stuck creating a school form right now, which gets mixed in with all the other forms, rather than showing up under Contracts.
These are also being called Perpetual Enrollment Contracts. Just FYI. We need this too! We are actually manually rolling everything over in Smart Tuition. We have a "withdrawal notification period" in January, then after that we manually re-enroll students in smart tuition for everyone who did not notify us of the withdrawal.
Any update to this idea? We want the ability to auto-re-enroll students for next year without having to create a new contract for them. We want a record for them in enrollment management and manage not returning plus reporting etc.
