Ability for candidates to self-schedule a tour/visit without having login credentials or be able to create a login without an application

We are in the heat of our admissions season and it is very awkward and takes too much time to try and schedule visits online for candidates that do not have accounts already in the system.  I have to enter a manual inquiry on their behalf then walk through the scheduling.  We allow anyone to take a tour and we look unprofessional when it takes so long to schedule online for them.  If a login is not required, each of them could self-schedule easily (maybe have an option to connect to their account if they have one) or quicker for me to schedule on their behalf.   Another option is to have the ability for candidates to create accounts without applying.

Hi All, we will have the option for users to register for an event without an account with the new event registration. This should hopefully help with this.

    Thank you,

    Sarah

So....this has been out there for almost 4 years. Any thoughts on implementing this?

A thousand times yes! It's awkward to say - you can self schedule a tour once you have completed the inquiry form, we create your account AND then you start your checklist. Scheduling a tour should be an option on the inquiry form.

In addition, we would also love to see the ability of the candidate to schedule their own interview and not require the parent to do so through the applicant checklist. We conduct a Skype interview for all boarding students and while we understand why many schools would like to have the parents involved in this scheduling, it adds another unnecessary layer and is not true " self-scheduling" as the function is named.

    YES

We have another system we use that has extremely easy to use public self-scheduling. We're manually moving all of the inquiries over to our OnBoard system (400+ Shadow Days a year) because I'd rather do the extra work on our end than make it awkward for the families.

This should be an easy fix!
