This year we added a few optional checklist items which are only viewable by our Admissions staff (i.e. "Send Learning Support Brochure"). Our Admission team checks off the step if they send the brochure but it's not really a step that we would "waive" for a student—it either gets sent or it doesn't.
The problem is that despite the step being optional, the candidate cannot progress to the next milestone. We send out the brochure all throughout the year, so there isn't a specific date that we can bulk waive the step. This means we'll have to keep monitoring a list of all candidates who have completed all but these optional steps and then go in and waive those optional items.
It'd be wonderful if either optional items did not influence the progression to the next milestone, or if there was a way to track these types of communication touch-points in onBoard/Enrollment Management.
