Only Enter Payment Information Once.

Currently, during the contract acceptance process in Onboard, a family must enter their credit card information twice, once for the payment plan and once for the deposit. This is cumbersome and deemed by our Admissions Office as a barrier to enrollment, especially for international families. It would like to see a change so that families are not required to input the same credit card information twice during the contract acceptance process.

Agreed! Trying to help parents get through the 8+ pages of the enrollment contract is hard enough. Having to explain to them that they have to enter their payment information (again) is just one more level of frustration.

Good mornig, I was actaully giong to create a case for this, but saw that one had been made.

The one thing that would certainly help simplify the enrollment process and remove parents frustration is if the payment information that needs to be entered on each of the contracts (2x's) would carry over for the other children in the family (and have a choice if they want to change they payment option for the child from the original, but if same, it would all transfer over). Similar to the payment option that locks for each child in the family once the contract is stepped through. We have a good number of families who have 2+ children (some 5 and 6 children families) that have to enter their banking/credit/debit information upto 12+ times (2 for each contract x each child). That's alot of times entering the same information and greater chance of data error (thus family becomes very frustrated).

Would love to see this move forward.

This is also true if they choose to pay via ACH - many, many, many, parents - dare I say it again?? choose In-school payment for the deposit because they absolutely cannot understand why we are asking for their payment information again. And then they just don't pay until we chase them and then they are completely confused.

Part of me understands why you need to do it this way - but perhaps you can either make it absolutely clear that they can choose to make their deposit payment with the credit card or banking information they just provided OR they may wish to choose another method of payment (perhaps some people want to use a different account for the deposit). .

But please make it clear and give them the choice to have the deposit drawn from the same payment method they just provided 3 minutes prior.
